This application was built using NodeJS, SocketIO and the Nexmo API for SMS messaging. Using a POST request endpoint and Axios, the application uses the entered number and location to send a SMS. The application also uses SocketIO for emitting a notification when the SMS was delivered successfully. Currently only registered ‘testing numbers’ are allowed to be used to send messages. Testing was conducted using mocha, supertest and expect to ensure endpoints and functions were working accordingly.
